So we took the liberty to find out more about the coordinators of Lagos Marathon Praise concert and there was so much to
discover. Here is what you need to know about the brothers behind this
unique praise concert. Thy are both dynamic men of God, meet Pastor Taiwo Adegboyega and Pastor Kehinde Adebgoyega .

Pastor Taiwo Adegboyega
What are God's people expecting in this year's edition of Lagos Marathon Praise?
This
year's concert will take place at the All Seasons Plaza, Adigingbi
Ikeja. What people should expect this year is an avenue to come together
to praise and appreciate God. This concert is a platform to gather a
large congregation of Lagosians both young and old to come together to
praise God for what He is doing and what He will still do. The Yoruba
people will say "ti a ba mo inu ro,a mo ope du,bi Omo ba dupe ore ano,ari omiran gba" (If you are thankful for yesterday, you will see another one from God). The scripture that God gave us for this praise
concert, which happens to be our drive, is taken from the book of Psalm
67:5-7, which say "Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people
praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our
own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us; and all the ends of the
earth shall fear him".
This is what is happening in
Lagos State, God has really blessed Lagos. The way to lure God to do
what He has been doing before is by praising him more and more. And that
is the what we are gathering to do again this year. It will be
fantastic, awesome and wonderful in this year's praise concert by the
special Grace of God.
We are expecting a lot of
guest artist who have voluntarily decided to come and worship God. This
morning I spoke to Sammie Okposo, who we thought will be difficult to
get across to him because of his busy schedule. He said, he is coming
for just for the act of worship and what comes after is secondary. Other
artist that will grace the concert are; Big Bolaji from Ibadan, Ibitayo
Jeje, Pastor Kunle Ajayi, Sanmi Michael, Kayode Olutayo, Kunle Adeolu,
Titi Euba, Bidemi Olaoba and several other artist are coming together to
praise God.
The praise concert will run for 12 hours, that is a whole day, from 9am to 9pm and it's going to be awesome.
We
are aware the Lagos State government is behind this concert, what does
the Lagos State government stand to achieve supporting this concert?
If
you say government, we are the government, people are the government.
When I said God is blessing the land, He is not only blessing the
Executive Governor of Lagos State Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode or Her Excellency
the First Lady Mrs. Bolanle Ambode alone. God is blessing the whole
land. What the government will gain from the program is by God blessing
us again and appreciating Him for what He has done and in anticipation
of what He will do.
The highest support we needed
from the government was their approval and not necessarily monetary. The
logo of the Lagos State government on our billboards shows that the
Lagos State government is behind this program. We also have private
individuals and companies supporting this program.

Have there been challenges organizing this praise concert?
I
can tell you we are not having any challenges. Whatever God is involved
in can never be difficult. Whatever God lead someone to do is easier to
achieve.
Who are the people you are expecting at this year's Lagos Marathon Praise concert?
Well,
we thank God for the achievement and success of last year's event. We
thank God we have not failed those that expect so much from us. Because
to whom much is given, much is expected. By the grace of God the
achievement last year has made this program the interest of several
people. Across all the parastatals, ministries, councils, council of
officer's wives in Lagos State, the women wing and Muslims have
indicated interest to grace the praise concert. They have discovered
that this program is a unique way of worshipping, serving and
appreciating God for all what He has done in their individual lives and
the society as a whole.
What is the Jubilee Concept International is all about?
The
Jubilee Concept International emanated from the Golden Jubilee
celebrations of Lagos State last year. The praise concert last year was
called Jubilee Marathon Praise. Having achieved so much last year, we
came up the an idea to create a platform name for proper correspondence.
The major concept behind the Jubilee Concept International, is pushing
the program beyond the shores of Nigeria to the international community.
With the help of our partners, which some some are international based
will push this program to the world.
We believe
before next year's edition we will receive calls from international
bodies to be part of this concert. After the praise concert last, one of
the key personnel in government called us to appreciate us for putting
up this concert. We are using Jubilee Concept International with the
team God has given us to contribute our quota in supporting the
government and most especially appreciate God for the good governance
in Lagos State, Nigeria
