The Professional Association of Spa and Cosmetologists in Nigeria PASCON Collaborates with Lagos State Safety Commission

The Professional Association of Spa and Cosmetologists in Nigeria in a bid to regulating the standard of cosmetics production  and usage in Nigeria has collaborated with the Lagos Safety Commission.


At a meeting recently held at the agency office in Alausa Lagos, The  project of the association safe skin Nigeria has being officially launched, and the awareness has started in other sensitize the public on safe skin  culture. The president of the association Mr  Chukwumah Emmanuel used the forum of the meeting to call on all cosmetics manufacturers and distributors to sensitize the public on the safe skin culture.

In the president's report and research its proven that the rate of usage of adulterated products will lead to upsurge of skin cancer by 2024,the public is however warned.

The director representing the DG Dr Olatunde  Oluremi reiterated the fact that the agency major area is on enforcement and regulation  and are ready to collaborate with the association to achieve this goal. the  president has appealed to the corporate organizations to support the safe skin initiative.
